Were you in the upper 6th form at Nicholas Hawksmoor School,
Borehamwood, in 1977; or in the fifth year in 1975? Not sure? You would have been amongst the last intake at
11 years old, in September 1970, to Borehamwood Grammar School, or
amongst the first intake at 13 when it became an upper school.

If you were there, then put this date - Saturday 14th July 2012 - in
your diary, and come along to our 35th anniversary re-union in 2012. We
have been meeting every five years since 1977 on the 2nd Saturday in July.

32nd Anniversary Reunion in
2009
19 people met on 11 July 2009 at the Mops and Brooms to celebrate a special
"now we are 50" anniversary.
This web page will be updated soon, with photos of the 2009 reunion and
information about the next one. Hopefully this will be by the end of July. (I
havent properly updated this site since 2007 so I might take the opportunity to
give it a facelift). If you would like to be sent a reminder when the site is
updated, or if you would like a CD-ROM of the photos, please
contact
me. |

2007
The 30th Anniversary re-union took place in July 2007, with 24
people attending. Statistics as follows (2002 figures in brackets)
- 24 (43) people turned up, and
- a further 13 (13) people made contact in some way.
- 20 (12) people were probably reached, but sent no reply.
- there are 25 (14) people for whom I have no contact details.
That's a total of 82 people, of which 62 were U6 leavers in

If you are suffering from those degenerative changes which my doctor insists
are normal for someone of my age, then your memory might need jogging.

If you were a teacher, we would like to invite you along too, unless you
were one of the horrid ones.
